ine Valley is an over-55 mobile home community nestled in over 150 acres of beautifully landscaped, park-like grounds. Because we are a cooperative corporation, homeowners are also park owners.

Amenities:

Five and one half  miles of private roads, for walking or biking. Golf carts are also allowed.

Three beautiful Ponds for fishing (catch and release). A Pedal Boat is docked in Upper Pond, for use by residents and their guests, free of charge. Life Jackets are readily available.

The main office building (“Manor”) boasts a large lending Library of paperback books and DVD’s.

There is a Card Room equiped with a regulation slate billiard table (25₵/game). Join our informal pool league, or just enjoy a private game. Pitch is played on Monday evenings, Michigan Rummy is played weekly in the afternoon, everyone is welcome!

Downstairs, a beautiful Community Room is available for rental by residents, for gatherings up to 125 people. Enjoy a game of ping pong on our full-sized table, anytime the hall is not in use.

Horseshoes and Corn Hole (toss game) are also available to residents in a shady area next to the community mail room.

Generously-sized Community Garden Plots are available to any resident ($10/year to cover rototilling done by staff). Water is available, and excess veggies are shared at the

 

garden sharing table where non-gardeners are always happy to enjoy an abundant harvest of fresh produce.

A community Campfire Pit is available to residents, as well. As the name suggests, other residents are always welcome to join in for some campfire fun.

At the end of the gardens, a wooden bridge crosses the brook leading to groomed walking paths that winds through the large field, past the pond, providing plenty of natural beauty along the way. Dogs and their owners, love it! Golf carts are also welcome on the trail.

Around the neighborhood:

The Activities Committee organizes special events enjoyed by many Pine Valley residence throughout the year. We recognize little known  National Holidays – Coconut Cream Pie Day, Baked Potato Day, Pulled Pork Day, to name a few. The Community  Room hosts Buffet Breakfasts, Dinners, Movie Nights, Game Nights, Art Auctions and other fun social events.

Pine Valley’s over-55 status provides us with friends and neighbors who share many of our interests and experiences. Everyone waves to everyone, and there’s always someone to stop and chat with. The many activities are a great way to meet neighbors and form new friendships.
